The WineHunter Award 2019

We are happy to announce that our COL DI MANZA Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato has received the certificate of excellence TheWineHunter Award RED.

The WineHunter Award is the award for excellence and high quality linked to the Meran WineFestival. The award is given annually to wine and culinary products, spirits and beers. The award is given to national and international products which, after careful evaluation, achieve a minimum score of 88 points out of 100, and guarantees the end consumer the superior quality of the product.

The evaluation criteria are numerous: intensity, complexity, elegance, extraordinary personality, raw material, tradition, sustainability, professionalism, craftsmanship, indigenous grape varieties and territoriality. The criteria are visual, olfactory and taste according to those one indicated by the UIOE International Union of Oenologists and OIV International Organization of Vine and Wine.

The awarded Col di Manza is the quintessence of superiority, it is a Prosecco Superiore DOCG organic Extra Dry Millesimato that encloses the magic of the hilly atmosphere and the quality of a product closely linked to its homeland. Col di Manza is made from grapes cultivated using biodynamic methods. Biodynamic viticulture is based on the principle that earthly and cosmic forces must act in perfect balance and harmony, while human activity must operate by preserving the biodiversity of the soil, so that the vine can grow healthy and strong.
The result of this attention is a sparkling wine with a harmonious, velvety, mineral flavour and floral aromas with a sweet hint of peach and white wisteria.
