We are happy to announce the release of Iconis – Incrocio Manzoni Dosaggio Zero .
Iconis is an elegant Incrocio Manzoni designed to pay tribute to Claudio Nardi, Founding Partner of Perlage in 1985 and key figure in Perlage's technological development.
Claudio deeply loved Incrocio Manzoni grapes and always tried to make the most of them.
Iconis is therefore our way of remembering and celebrating Claudio by gifting him with a unique product as a symbol of gratitude for his hard work at Perlage.

For those who have not yet had the opportunity to taste it , we share below a brief insight to guide you in discovering Iconis.

DESCRIPTION :
Iconis is made from a selection of the best Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 grapes grown in the Aviano area.
It is a sugar-free wine (zero dosage) made following the long Charmat method and aged with its yeasts in autoclave for more than 9 months .

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS :
Iconis is characterized by an extremely fine and elegant effervescence. The aromas that predominate in the glass are those of tropical fruits and pineapple in syrup.
Aromas of candied citron peel and salt emerge on the palate, followed by a long note of licorice.
Iconis is a limited production: only 4,000 bottles have been produced. Its name, of Latin origin (= “of the icon), was chosen to express Claudio’s belonging to the land and the essence of Claudio in its entirety.
The wine of the Icon, therefore, represents the symbol of Perlage and the production philosophy always cherished by Claudio.
